Is it OK to recycle white paper in the newspaper recycling bin?
duke questioned:
If not, where should I recycle it?. I do not have access to an office recycling program any longer. I just do not want to throw it away.

White (bond) paper gets a higher price from the buyers.
I shred mine, along with envelopes, for confidentiality.
And I give it to a friend for packing pottery.
But putting it in with newspaper is better than wasting it.
If you have a lot, you might try bundling it separately.

You need to contact the recycling authority in your area. You may find that mixing them will cause and problem and the people gathering the material may just throw your paper out. Your local authority may have a better option, most have a separate way to do it.

It depends on the regulations of were the recyclables are going to from your community. Contact were you recyables go (check with town or city clerk if you do not know where else to check) and as what th requlations are in your community) In my Town junk mail and office papper can be place with the newspaer because it all goes to the same place for processing into Toilet tissue.
