How do I find out if my neighborhood has a recycling program?
schnicklefritzinator questioned:
I know this is kind of a silly question, but I want to start recycling and I don’t know where to get bins, or even if my neighborhood really recycles. Any help?

Someone who works for the town can help you–just call Town Clerk and she should hook you up with the right extention.
Ladies at the library can also help you as they seem to know everything!

WHAT YOUR NEIGHBORS DO IS THEIR BUSINESS, NOT YOURS AND IF YOU RECYCLE ITS ONLY BECAUSE YOU WANT TO . NOTHING TO DO WITH G.W.

If you contact the trash company that picks up for you they should be able to provide you with recycle bins(tubs) and tell you what day they pick up the recycle items.
Hope that helps!

Do an update on your question and list your city. Maybe someone plugged into Yahoo can tell you exactly what you need to know.
Otherwise, contact your city’s department of refuse or even city hall.
I hope your city has a plot. If not, you seem like the one to start a program. Just do a learn search on Yahoo answers, I’m sure you’ll find some info there.

Use a search engine with your town and recycling and see what comes up. My city has a web page with links to each department. I’m sure there is something for you. Excellent luck going green–it’s the only way to be!

1 contact your town office waste services dept and question them either the town works people do it or they have a private contractor picking it up in which case you would have to contact them for a curbside bin
2 look outside and watch for recycling day when all the neighbours place out there bins check the bins for a phone # or watch for the truck and grab the # from the truck
3 question your neighbour about the local details
